Dr. Saxena is the chief medical officer for Forum Health, a nationwide network of over 80 functional and integrative medical providers. She is active clinically as medical director of the Tampa location. With 20 years of experience in integrative and functional medicine, she not only enhances the lives of her patients but is committed to supporting other providers to do the same. She has created resources for others to provider extraordinary care and support through her group visit toolkits and as clinical expert for Lifestyle Matrix Resource Center. 

Dr. Saxena’s keep-it-simple and down-to-earth style permeates her office culture and faculty roles. She makes complex subject matters like gut health, autoimmune conditions, chronic conditions, mental health, medical weight loss, longevity optimization, and hormone health easy to understand for all so everyone can see positive progress with their loftiest goals. A graduate of the University of Florida College of Medicine through the Junior Honors Medical Program, Dr. Saxena completed her family practice residency, where she served as chief resident and earned additional certification in low-risk obstetrics. She was a member of the first graduating class of certified practitioners at The Institute for Functional Medicine and is also fellowship-trained in integrative medicine. 

Dr. Saxena is the external lead for the Cardiometabolic Advanced Practice Module at The Institute for Functional Medicine and shares her skills across the globe at prestigious institutions, including the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, George Washington University, the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola in Lima, Perú.
