Looking back on the challenges of last year, we can’t help but be buoyed by the resilience of the functional medicine community. In recognition of this positive reflection, The Institute for Functional Medicine’s Annual International Conference (AIC) 2021 online experience will focus on the resilience we are witnessing in our practices, our communities, underserved populations, practitioners, patients, and you. Happening June 3-5, AIC 2021 will provide compelling new perspectives, tools, technologies, and therapeutics to enable each of us to fulfill our role in reducing health disparities and building a healthier world.
AIC 2021: Advancements in Clinical Research and Innovative Practices in Functional Medicine will feature preeminent researchers and clinicians presenting clinical content with a focus on the resilience of patients as well as practitioners. In addition, we hope you will join us as we mark the 30th anniversary of IFM and present some of the most exciting new research in functional medicine. Program materials and CME certificates are delivered to you through your personal IFM account. Program materials are for use by registered Attendees only. For this reason, you may not register someone other than yourself. Please reference the program website for specific registration deadlines. Registration closed 4:00 PST, Wednesday, June 02, 2021.
Cancellations must be received in writing no later than 4:00pm PST, Wednesday, June 02, 2021 to receive a full refund. Cancellations received thereafter, up to the first day of the Event, are eligible for a refund less a $150 cancellation fee. Tuition is non-transferable. Failure to follow the terms for cancellation outlined herein will result in complete forfeiture of tuition (nonrefundable, nontransferable, no exceptions). A written request for cancellation must be submitted by email to email@example.com. IFM will reply with a written acknowledgement.
My participation in the IFM Program is not a substitute for any licensing requirements that may be applicable to me and does not independently authorize me to render care, prescribe regimens or prescribe medications or supplements. MD/DO: The Institute for Functional Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 16.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
ACCME-accredited courses for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ are eligible for Category 2 credit through the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). ABIM MOC Points Available: Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 16.50 Medical Knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
DC: IFM submitted an application to Northwestern Health Sciences University (NWHSU) who applied to all states, except Arizona, Kentucky, New York, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas. For a complete list of states and approval hours, please contact IFM.
ND: Generally, naturopathic state licensing boards accept continuing education courses accredited through the ACCME. Please contact your state naturopathic board to inquire if CME credits from ACCME-accredited organizations are accepted.
Nursing Professional: For the purpose of re-certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), contact hours approved through ACCME are accepted. Please contact your state nursing board to inquire if continuing education credits from ACCME-accredited organizations are accepted.
PA: The American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) accepts all continuing education credits from organizations accredited by the ACCME. Please contact your state physician assistant board to inquire if continuing education credits from ACCME-accredited organizations are accepted.
RD: The Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) automatically accepts CME courses accredited for AMA PRA Category 1 creditsTM through the ACCME. Therefore, pre-approval is not required of IFM. Please check with your state licensing board to inquire if prior approval by CDR is required to obtain continuing education credits for an activity despite this circumstance.
LAc: IFM is a continuing education provider (provider #0232) of the California Acupuncture Board (CAB). An application was submitted to CAB for this course for 16.50 Category 1 hours. Per the Recertification Handbook of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), courses approved by a state acupuncture regulatory board are eligible to submit with the re-certification application. Please contact your Board to inquire if continuing education credits approved by the CAB are accepted. Note: California acupuncturists must attend this course in full to receive CPEUs. Partial credit is not available.
Other: Please contact your healthcare licensing board to inquire if continuing education credits from ACCME-accredited organizations are recognized and accepted toward fulfilling your continuing education requirements.
