The Annual International Conference (AIC) has always created a critical space for innovation, research, and leadership in healthcare to thrive. It’s a space for like-minded clinicians to connect, share knowledge, and come together as a community. While the conversations about the latest clinical approaches in functional medicine during the last two years’ online format have kept that momentum going, a critical element to that experience was missing: the ability to share these moments face-to-face. This year, IFM is excited to return to an in-person conference experience!

Reconnect with your functional medicine colleagues June 2-4 at the Hyatt Regency in Dallas, Texas, as IFM presents the 29th AIC: Advancements in Clinical Research and Innovative Practices in Functional Medicine.

The last few years have revealed the increasing vulnerabilities of chronic disease. In order to move the needle of the global chronic disease burden, fundamental shifts must be made to how we view the concepts of “health” and “disease.” How can we shift the paradigm from merely treating disease to truly creating better health outcomes for individuals and communities?

AIC 2022 will explore the critical advancements in the field of functional medicine along with innovative clinical approaches that can help you optimize the health outcomes of your practice. Highlights include:

  • Clinically relevant topics and novel therapeutic strategies to promote optimal health and well-being
  • The latest research findings with practical applications to help translate these learnings into effective interventions for a variety of patient populations
  • New tools and technologies to enhance how care is delivered and to strengthen the efficacy of care received
  • Practice implementation resources and business networking opportunities to support the success of your functional medicine practice
  • Advancements in microbiome research and its implications for stemming the tide of chronic disease
  • Discussions on how the environment and other larger, interconnected ecosystems impact human health, healthcare practices, and policy
  • The chance to reconnect with colleagues for the first time in over two years

This year’s AIC is more than just an opportunity to gather together again as a community of healthcare practitioners; it’s an opportunity to share our experiences, build stronger connections throughout the functional medicine ecosystem, and to learn new ways to help patients achieve healthier lives for years to come.
