What Is the IFM Mentorship Program?
Please note that the Mentorship Program has been postponed. We expect to have more information in the next few weeks. Check this page or watch your email for updates. We appreciate your patience.
The Functional Medicine Mentorship Program is an opportunity for practitioners to present their own cases to an experienced Functional Medicine mentor and discuss strategies for patient care. These sessions may include a review of the IFM Timeline and Matrix tools, discussion of assessment/diagnostics, and therapeutic management of your case.
- Mentorship is through online cohort sessions with 3–7 total group members and a mentor, and each group is topic-specific, focusing on cases within that scope.
- IFM mentors are IFM Certified Practitioners (IFMCP) and faculty who have years of experience teaching, mentoring, and practicing the Functional Medicine Model.
- There is a total of 8 sessions in the program, each lasting 75 minutes; sessions are conducted virtually through the Zoom Meetings platform.

The Functional Medicine Mentorship Program is intended only for graduates of AFMCP and/or APMs. If you have completed an APM or AFMCP, please login to your account to view and register for available sessions.
Mentorship sessions are offered online through the teleconferencing platform Zoom Meetings. Your meetings will be automatically scheduled at the time of your purchase. You will receive a confirmation email with your Zoom meeting details. We strongly encourage downloading the Zoom Meetings application prior to your mentorship session to avoid any technical difficulties.
Dr. Bump was a very good facilitator and mentor! He cared about each of the practitioners and engaged all of us.
It was extremely helpful to get [our] mentor's recommendations on specific treatments. I am already using these in practice.
Every piece of information from the case presented [has] clear clinical applications. I also learned how to approach complicated cases.
