IFM Surpasses 1,000 Certified Practitioners

Dan Lukaczer, ND

Colleagues,

I am writing to share some exciting news. In May 2019, IFM reached a historic milestone: we have now exceeded 1,000 Certified Functional Medicine clinicians around the globe. This is a testament to the collective effort and dedication of the entire IFM staff and to the hard work of all of you. It also demonstrates the enduring interest in Functional Medicine as the medicine of the future among both clinicians and the public.

IFM’s Certification Program (IFMCP) launched in 2009, and the first group of clinicians achieved certification in 2013. Over the past 10 years, IFM educators have shared their experience and knowledge with candidates committed to Functional Medicine’s core concepts, while IFM’s certification team has supported our candidates every step of the way. IFM certified practitioners get to the heart of what IFM is all about—creating skilled clinicians in Functional Medicine to help stem the tide of chronic disease and improve the state of health care across all communities.

Thank you for being an integral part of IFM’s journey. You are an advocate, leader, and example of what medicine can become. We could not have made it this far without you.

Warm Regards,
