Information for Patients

From the practitioner: About My Practice

Dee is founder of Coho Health (a team of Functional Medicine Nutritional Therapists) and co-founder of Optimised Personal Wellness, an established health clinic, providing a range of therapies - physiotherapy, psychotherapy and personal training.

Dee worked in Clinical Drug Development in the pharmaceutical industry for 11 years before re-training in nutritional and functional medicine. All 6 IFM Advanced Practice Modules have been completed and Dee is on the path to becoming fully certified with the IFM. The team work fully within the Functional Medicine model, helping clients with chronic, complex conditions, and offer in-person appointments in Manchester (UK), Palma de Mallorca & online appointments with clients any where in the world.

From the practitioner: What Patients Can Expect

The Functional Medicine team help clients through a 12 week or 6 month Care Plan (packages of support and appointments). From years of experience, we have learned that single appointments do not offer the level of support required for most clients, to help address underlying causes of signs and symptoms, implement the required changes, and navigate through the often complex interactions that occur between different body systems.

A full health / medical history will be gathered at the initial appointment, including a review of previous test results, key life events, environment, stress, nutrition and other lifestyle factors. Your health goals will be discussed, any further testing ordered and next steps agreed with your practitioner.
