Information for Patients

From the practitioner: About My Practice

DOC is unique in that we see you in your home, work or even the park. I am a Family Physician focusing on caring for the entire family from the newborn to the elderly. I really enjoy caring for the entire family and working towards educating multigenerational families on the benefits of a functional medicine approach to prevention and treatment of a wide range of medical concerns. I particularly focus on Endocrine/Hormonal Disbalances, Metabolic Syndrome, Gastrointestinal concerns and weight management challenges. I also treat pediatric challenges such as Asthma/ Allergies, ADD, and childhood obesity just to name a few. I am certified in the Bredesen Protocol which focuses on the prevention and treatment of Cognitive Decline.

From the practitioner: What Patients Can Expect

Much of the initial visit will be spent focusing on your history so we can work on a plan together. Part of that plan is likely to include lifestyle recommendations, dietary changes and laboratory evaluations. The expectation is that you and I will work as a team to help you achieve your health goals. Close initial follow up is recommended so we can follow your progress and tackle any challenges you may face. Understanding the challenges one faces in making lifestyle changes, I may also recommend consultation with a dietician and/or health coach. When you go to our website docishere.com, you will see the variety of options available. At this time I am able to see patients in the Bryan/College Station area.
