Functional Nutrition, also known as Functional Medicine, is addressing the root cause of a health problem and achieving life-long relief from symptoms or ailments using food, lifestyle changes, and sometimes supplementation. The practitioner takes an in-depth evaluation of your health-history and together you come up with a plan to improve your symptoms or condition. Functional Nutrition addresses: Nutrition, detoxification, metabolism, genetic, and underlying issues.
