From the practitioner: About My Practice

I am a Family Medicine Physician by training however since I am in a solo and primarily virtual practice, I am no longer equipped to provide full scope primary care for my patients. Patients are encouraged to have a primary care physician within their insurance network and consider me as a consultation source and an integrative medicine adjunct to your care team. Most consultations and follow-up visits are now provided virtually via a HIPPA secure platform unless acupuncture is performed in which case your appointment will be scheduled at the Sacramento office location.

From the practitioner: What Patients Can Expect

I spend a lot of time with my patients and work to build a partnership with each of you to aid you on your journey towards better health. While I accept insurance and Medicare, most of the time I spend with you and researching information on your behalf is not reimbursed by insurance because this effort does not fall into a standard fee-for-service, bill-by-diagnosis, insurance-based model of care. Patients who will work with me on an ongoing basis may be asked to pay a "membership fee" for this direct access and individualized treatment. Additionally, acupuncture, testing, supplements and certain treatment modalities like immunotherapy are not covered by insurance and may incur additional cost which you will be advised of ahead of time.
