Information for Patients

From the practitioner: About My Practice

My practice focuses on women's health and hormones primarily. Conditions I work with regularly include: hormone imbalance, PMS, PCOS, endometriosis, infertility (especially unexplained infertility), perimenopause, menopause, painful periods, and more.

As a naturopathic doctor with 18 year of experience, my goal is to treat the root cause of your health concerns, addressing all systems that may be out of balance: digestion, detoxification, lymphatic, adrenal, and optimizing your nutrition. By viewing the body as an interconnected system, we can address your primary health complaints while also optimizing your overall health.

From the practitioner: What Patients Can Expect

Your initial visit takes place at the Darou Wellness clinic in Toronto, or can be a virtual meeting, where we will review your current health issues, you past health, family history, health goals and challenges. My approach is to make connections between different health issues, and search for underlying causes. Each system in the body is interconnected, from hormones and digestion, to the immune system and neurological system, including your emotional and spiritual wellbeing.

The first appointment lasts approximately 60 minutes, giving us ample time to review your health thoroughly, along with a complaint-oriented physical exam. The second and subsequent visits range from 30-45 minutes, and give us ample time to review your progress.
