From the practitioner: About My Practice
VALENCIA RAY, M.D. is a trained Functional Medicine physician and a lifelong learner. She helps busy women to overcome burnout, stop annoying health symptoms without scary drugs, and experience greater vitality, connection, and confidence. Most people do not understand what stress really is, and how it is the cause of 95% of all chronic disease.
The anti-aging benefits of her holistic, science-based approaches address such common symptoms as low energy, low libido, thyroid and autoimmune conditions, menopausal symptoms, hair loss, brain fog, and chronic weight gain, and supports women to maintain radiant health and well-being so that they can have the knowledge and power to thrive.

From the practitioner: What Patients Can Expect
Patients can expect to be seen and heard as a whole human being and not a 'diagnosis' which is often the situation in the traditional or allopathic medical system. They can expect to be deeply listened to so that their history and situation can be understood - this is a foundation to the healing process. Patients can expect to be treated with compassion, respect, integrity, and understanding. They can also expect to be a full partner in the healing process with their physician. It is my goal to guide people to empower their own self.
