From the practitioner: About My Practice

Heart of Mt Tabor

Patients who are told that they are "fine," yet they do not feel "fine" have a chance to find out what is wrong with an in-depth wholistic functional medicine approach.

I am board certified in Family Medicine and functional medicine. This allows me to provide a deeper dive into patients medical problems with the medical interview and detailed labs of the microbiome, hormones and metabolism. Functional genetics testing is being added as well.

Both tele and in person visits are available.

For more information on an integrative functional medicine approach to healthcare and for a video, please visit my website at https://aleksandragmd.com/

From the practitioner: What Patients Can Expect

This is a partnership. You are the captain of your ship & I as your mate help you navigate, constantly updating you on your best options.
My patients are curious & motivated to understand why they have a medical problem. They fill out in depth questionnaires, complete microbiome, hormonal, and metabolic testing and perhaps even functional genomic testing.
Patient are willing to do the "heavy lifting" necessary to optimize their health so that they may obtain their life goals.
They are proactive, and will make lifestyle changes (diet, exercise, sleep) if needed and may use the health coach on staff, a mental health provider and/or an athletic trainer.
For a limited time patients will take supplements & nutritional foods to support healing.
