Information for Patients

From the practitioner: About My Practice

Recover From Mold is a practice committed to the treatment of patients affected by biotoxin illness, cognitive decline and autoimmunity in a comprehensive and systematic approach. A key focus of the practice is treating mold illness.
Dr. Vukelic is board-certified in Family Medicine. She received certification from Dr. Shoemaker in the treatment of CIRS. She has completed Dr. Bredesen Course for Reversal of Cognitive Decline 2.0 and has also been Certified by Dr. Terry Wahls in The Wahls Protocol. Dr. Vukelic has also completed a number of advanced courses in Osteopathic training. This training includes work in Biodynamic Osteopathy, key lesion sequencing, the Cranial Course from the Cranial Academy, and individualized mentor training.

From the practitioner: What Patients Can Expect

Intake appointments involve extensive environmental and medical histories. Patients should fax all medical records and a medication list prior to their appointment. Have a list of questions ready so we can best meet your needs. Intakes take between 90 minutes and 2 hours, depending on the complexity of the illness and patient questions. We schedule a follow-up in one month for lab review and patient progress.
One way Dr. Vukelic looks to treat the root cause is through cranial osteopathy. Sometimes, even with optimal diet and lifestyle, mechanical issues from old injuries remain. Ailments commonly treated with osteopathy are headaches and low-back pain.
Dr. Vukelic focuses on environment, diet, structure and function as part of the whole.
