Information for Patients
From the practitioner: About My Practice
My primary goal as a doctor is to hold space for patients where they can feel safe, be heard, and increase awareness of factors affecting their well-being. I trained in naturopathic medicine so that I could work within a model that respects the critical importance of time: time within visits to explore the layers of your health; and time between visits to implement lifestyle changes and treatments that do more than suppress symptoms. I value my training in nutrition, physical medicine, and herbal medicine alongside my training in pharmaceuticals, IV therapy, and other "high force" interventions. There is a place for each of these modalities and patients should not be limited to choosing between conventional and natural treatments.
From the practitioner: What Patients Can Expect
I am currently licensed in Maryland, the District of Columbia, Washington State, Oregon, and California. I can diagnose and treat patients in those states (in-person in Bethesda or Potomac with telehealth visits available). For individuals outside of those states, I can provide virtual educational consults. Please feel free to contact our office with questions or for more information.
