From the practitioner: About My Practice

I have been practicing Integrative Medicine for many years. My training includes Functional Medicine, Endocrinology (notably thyroid disease, bio-identical hormone replacement and adrenal conditions), Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as several therapy modalities: Internal Family Systems Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Neuro-
Emotional Technique and Hakomi...all targeting mind-body, spiritual issues and trauma. I do offer basic primary care services yet with an emphasis on educating and counseling. My commitment is to help people heal, to be educated about their body systems and to become self empowered.

From the practitioner: What Patients Can Expect

I have tried to create a welcoming office environment that is less traditionally clinical in appearance.
I have a trained therapy dog.
The first encounter is basically a lengthy history and discussion about what seems to be the underlying cause of symptoms. Laboratory tests or diets or supplement therapies will be discussed/ordered, or, if the condition seems
to be of a deep emotional or spiritual nature, different modalities will be reviewed in detail and therapy sessions scheduled where appropriate.
