From the practitioner: About My Practice

Isobel is a medical doctor working in Edinburgh. Having spent several years working between the UK and rural South Africa, she was struck by the common denominator between many of the most common chronic conditions in these countries - namely the modern lifestyle. She is a passionate advocate for a new model of healthcare which seeks to address the reasons why we are ill, rather than just treating the symptoms.
Isobel has undertaken extensive further training with the IFM, and works with patients to empower them to regain their health.

She consults in Edinburgh as well as virtually.

From the practitioner: What Patients Can Expect

At Mosaic Medical we practice personalised medicine. We are all NHS doctors with a passion for promoting and restoring wellbeing.

Our Mosaic Approach accepts that we are all different, with unique experiences, genetics, environments and beliefs. Much like a flooding bathroom, it is better to fix the leak, than mop the floor! We take the time to thoroughly work through people's often complex health histories. We may also undertake functional testing which is not available on the NHS in order to identify the unique factors which have led to ill health.

Our treatment plans emphasise the importance of nutrition,movement, sleep, stress reduction, and may include specific nutraceuticals or medications that promote healing.
