Dr Janet Abshire has a Nutrition Science degree prior to her MD, and had been studying Functional Medicine since 1998. She has many years of experience in treating Chronic Disease, Weight Loss - Bariatric medicine, BHRT including Transgender Hormones, Pain and Addiction including MAT, HIV, and Autoimmune disease. After retiring from a government job in corrections, in 2022 she reopened a private practice for functional medicine, this time including aesthetics.
