From the practitioner: About My Practice

I have board certification in ObGyn and Integrative Medicine, as well as being a certified IFM provider (IFMCP). I provide Integrative/Functional Medicine Consultations for women who are highly motivated to improve their quality of life: Body, Mind, and Spirit. My focus includes nutrition, exercise, hormone balance, preventive and mental health. I also offer Genomic Curation, via University of Bridgeport Opus 23 PRO Program. Discovering your unique genetic profile can identify alterations in metabolism of your neurotransmitters, fats, vitamins and minerals. Based on this information you receive recommendations to optimize your lifestyle, including diet, exercise, medications, supplements, and self care.

From the practitioner: What Patients Can Expect

Prior to the first visit I ask women to provide detailed information regarding personal and medical history, ongoing symptoms, concerns and current lifestyle. At your first visit, typically 75-90 minutes, I will order indicated laboratory testing, discuss my initial clinical impression and make dietary, exercise and self care recommendations. At the first follow up visit we discuss your laboratory results, make adjustments to your treatment plan, and determine if additional testing or monitoring is indicated. Follow up visits allow for reevaluation, education, and support in maintaining optimal well being.
