From the practitioner: About My Practice

Novel Health Care (NHC) is a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice located in Gig Harbor WA. We provide Family Medicine primary care for patients of all ages. NHC combines Functional Medicine principles into daily medical practice aimed at increasing overall health of the individual, family, and community. Our goal is to make high quality, comprehensive health & wellness care both accessible and affordable. A direct practice model improves appointment access, giving patients as many appointments as they need for a set monthly membership fee. It improves communication with the care team and gives both the patient and the doctor time to form a valuable therapeutic relationship.

From the practitioner: What Patients Can Expect

We are seeking patients who are willing to learn & embrace a healthy lifestyle as a path forward. Individuals & families are welcome. Many patients may need extra time, or have chronic conditions they are trying to manage or reverse. Good health is a process & great health care is very individualized. We therefore do not do one-time consultations or tele-health only visits. This is a primary care experience in Washington. As a DPC clinic, we do not bill or accept insurance for the care we provide. We provide acute care to members but do not provide emergency or hospital services & strongly advise patients to have an insurance plan. We are happy to assist with using insurance for outside labs, imaging & specialty coordination.
