From the practitioner: About My Practice

After graduating and obtaining his MD and MBA, Raymond pursued further training at Bastyr University California and the Inst. for Functional Medicine completing his Masters in Nutrition for Wellness and IFM-certified practitioner training. He specializes as a medical detective focusing only on complex chronic disease management where he underwent special training in Autism, Autoimmune Disease and Neuroplasticity. He has been an educator in Southeast Asia for more than 7 years and has lectured in over 400 venues across the region. He co-founded multiple organizations and companies that develop and deliver nutrition and lifestyle education programs helping bridge the scientific knowledge gap between patients and practitioner communities.

From the practitioner: What Patients Can Expect

Dr. Raymond takes a very personal approach to healthcare. He reserves a minimum of 1.5 hours for every initial consult and takes the time to educate, instruct and guide every patient. He often jokes at the end of each consult that all his clients eventually become close friends and he wouldn't be able to charge them after a few months. He has always believed that the measure of his success is not in the financial rewards of practicing medicine but rather the number of transformations he is able to facilitate.

Having been mentored by IFM educator and certified practitioner Lisa Portera-Perry DC; his patients can expect expertise in applying the Functional Medicine model for Autoimmune and Neurologic (e.g. Autism) conditions of all ages.
