From the practitioner: About My Practice

Dr. Lavis grew up in a home of chiropractors where the principles of functional medicine were a part of life. His passion only grew as he went through college and medical school. He completed all of the IFM training before he graduated medical school.

Functional Health Solutions is a direct primary care that uses functional medicine in its approach to treating patients. We offer primary care from a functional medicine perspective as well as treat complex medical illness. Dr. Lavis is always looking for and treating the roots of our patient's problems so that they can attain the health they have always wanted. We have a level of care for every patient and enjoy creating personalized plans that meet the patient where they are.

From the practitioner: What Patients Can Expect

Dr. Lavis is actively taking on patients. If you contact his practice you will set up a discovery call to decide if we are the right fit and the general plan going forward. From here you will fill out extensive intake forms followed by a 1-2 hr history review with a small presentation on the basics of what it takes to achieve the health you want. Labs and other testing will be ordered at this visit and will be followed by another 1-3 hr lab review and plan formation. After this, bimonthly visits will occur for a minimum of 4 months to fine tune our plan and get you healthy!
