In today’s healthcare landscape, the conversation is shifting from managing symptoms to identifying and addressing the underlying factors that are at the root cause of disease. This speaks to an urgent need for more personalized and sustainable approaches to health care that truly address the needs of each patient as an individual and enables them to achieve a higher expression of health. Functional medicine answers that need by providing clinicians the tools to improve the resilience of their patients in the face of acute and chronic disease and setting them up for lifelong health and vitality. This model of care facilitates healthier outcomes and gives patients the tools to sustain this progress throughout the course of their lives.

Functional medicine care is needed now more than ever, and the accessible, digestible, and applicable information to be presented at this year’s 30th Annual International Conference (AIC) will help clinicians provide a deeper level of care that moves us one step closer to making this paradigm shift a reality.

Connect with your functional medicine colleagues June 1-3 at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Florida, as IFM presents the 30th AIC: Advancements in Clinical Research and Innovative Practices in Functional Medicine.

New call-to-action

  • Strategies for approaching long COVID-19 symptoms
  • The role of environmental toxins in autoimmune etiology
Reconnect With Your Functional Medicine Community

Attendees will have several opportunities to meet, network, and reconnect with fellow colleagues. We are excited to bring back a few attendee-favorite features from past in-person events:

Additional Information

Who Should Attend AIC?

The Annual International Conference (AIC) is a space that inspires community, creativity, and positive change for healthcare providers. As functional medicine can be implemented in various clinical settings and within many scopes of practice, IFM encourages healthcare providers in all care settings to come discover new ways to support patient health and healing.

AIC attendees are healthcare providers who are passionate about medicine and dedicated to helping their patients and clients achieve the highest expression of health possible. This includes MD/DO/NP/ND/DC and ARNP degree types as well as nursing professionals, nutritionists and dieticians, health coaches, pharmacy professionals, and other disciplines. Providers from private practice and academic medicine, student and medical residents, health institutions and health systems administrators, government agencies, and other healthcare professionals are also encouraged to attend. Patient care is a continuum—bringing together a diverse audience of healthcare providers helps ensure that patients receive the highest quality care at every level.

Livestream Attendance

As AIC will be an in-person event this year, we encourage everyone to experience this conference together with colleagues on-site. A limited livestream option offering up to 5.5 CME credits will be available for select sessions in real time, to provide a sample of the content during the conference. See the AIC schedule for more information on which presentations will be available via livestream.

*Recordings are not available to pre-purchase for livestream registrations.

Conference Recordings

AIC audio and video recordings are offered at a 50% discount when bundled with an in-person AIC registration at the time of purchase. Recordings will be available to be purchased at full price following the conference in both audio and slide-synced mp4 formats.
