2024 Annual International Conference (AIC)

The Annual International Conference (AIC) is a space that inspires community, creativity, and positive change for healthcare providers. As functional medicine can be implemented in various clinical settings and within many scopes of practice, IFM encourages healthcare providers in all care settings to join us and discover new ways to support patient health and healing.

AIC attendees are healthcare providers who are passionate about medicine and dedicated to helping their patients and clients achieve the highest expression of health possible. This includes MD, DO, NP, PA, ND, and DC degree types as well as nursing professionals, nutritionists and dieticians, health coaches, pharmacy professionals, dentists, and other disciplines. Providers from private practice and academic medicine, student and medical residents, health institutions and health systems administrators, government agencies, and other healthcare professionals are also encouraged to attend. Patient care is a continuum—bringing together a diverse audience of healthcare providers ensures that patients receive the highest quality care at every level.

2024 AIC is designed as a full, immersive, in-person experience to maximize learning and community development with functional medicine practitioners around the globe. While we believe the in-person event allows for the deepest experience, we know getting away from your practice and your family may not be possible. If you can’t be onsite, consider attending through our livestream option featuring a limited number of our most sought-after sessions. More information will be available closer to the conference date.

AIC provides ample opportunities to showcase your products, technologies, and services on-site and through our virtual exhibit hall for those who attend via the limited livestream. Expand your reach to both audience types!

The Exhibit Hall is designed to complement the educational sessions, providing an opportunity to highlight products and services that will help practitioners grow their practice within the functional medicine ecosystem. Our Exhibit Hall is organized by category, allowing attendees to maximize their time with the exhibitors they want to reach. REGISTRATION POLICY
Program materials and CME certificates are delivered to you through your personal IFM online account. For this reason, you may not register multiple people or someone other than yourself. Registration will close Wednesday, May 29, 2024. Conference registrations are limited and may sell out prior to the cutoff date.

PARTICIPATION
In-person participation is required May 30 – June 01, 2024, to receive continuing medical education credit for this program. CME hours are TBD. Please check back for updates.

IN-PERSON CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must be received in writing no later than 4:00pm PT Tuesday, April 30, 2024, to be eligible to receive a refund less 25% fee. Cancellation requests received between April 30, 2024 – May 18, 2024, are eligible to receive a refund less 50% fee. Cancellation requests received after 4:00pm PT, May 18, 2024, are not eligible to receive a refund. Tuition is non-transferable. Failure to log in to the livestream broadcast with no prior written cancellation will result in complete forfeiture of tuition and the course will not count toward certification (nonrefundable, nontransferable, no exceptions). Program materials are available only to participants. Just as is the case with in-person courses, participation is limited to the paid registrant. Log-in information is unique and cannot be shared.  If you have completed your purchase through Affirm, your cancellation will incur an additional fee of up to 6%. 

LIVESTREAM CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation requests must be submitted via the Course Cancellation Form. IFM will reply with a written acknowledgement once processed.

The CME option is intended for clinicians who need to fulfill continuing education requirements. If you do not need CME credits, you may purchase the non-CME option.

IFM is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Institute for Functional Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 16.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

      • IFM continues to monitor emerging health and safety news and trends. IFM may establish onsite health and safety measures (e.g., COVID-19, other) when determined through discussions with subject matter experts and based on scientific literature, event best practices, and government and venue-specific regulations. IFM will communicate any updates to onsite health and safety measures closer to the date of programming.
